Week 6: Chiefs vs. Patriots Odds and Prediction
As the 2018 season enters Week 6, one of the widely anticipated matchups is the Kansas City Chiefs vs the New England Patriots, which will take place on Sunday night. So far, Kansas City remains undefeated this season, but the New England are also fired up after two back-to-back wins over the Dolphins and the Colts. NFL fans will expect Tom Brady to lead his team to another win at home because they are yet to lose in their own turf. The Patriots will play Kansas City Chiefs at prime time, the same period they played in Detroit and lost in Week 3. However, they still have three more games to play during prime time, and this gives them a huge chance to play on Sunday night in the later stages of the season and improve Patriots odds for the season.

NFL Point Spread and Betting Analysis
When the 2018 season begun, the Patriots were the favorites to clinch the Super Bowl; however, the unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs have tremendously narrowed the gap. We might even have a repeat of this matchup in the AFC Championship Game in January. Therefore, whoever wins the Sunday game has a better chance of playing at home in that game.
In their last three head-to-head games, Kansas City has only lost one, which was in the 2015 season playoffs. In both wins, they managed to score at least two TDs. In the 2017 Kickoff Game, when the Patriots were the reigning Super Bowl champs, the Chiefs beat them with a surprising 42-27 score line at New England. It is important to mention that QB Alex Smith recorded 368 yards for four TDs. Even though Smith moved to Washington Redskins, the Patriots will have to worry about the 23-year-old Patrick Mahomes who replaced him. Mahomes is also the early-season MVP favorite.
After winning their game against the Jaguars on Sunday, the Chiefs remain the only undefeated squad in the AFC this season. The Jacksonville Jaguars are the top-ranked defense in the league, and a 30-14 loss to the Chiefs proved something for the winners. Mahomes managed to set up a touchdown with a 313-yard throw. The Jaguars offense harassed the Kansas City defense, which forced them to allow 502 yards and five turnovers. Chris Jones returned one interception for a score. The Chiefs also had a few injured players, such as guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif who broke his fibula, which could rule him out for the entire season.
New England Patriots
After beating the Colts with a 38-24 score line on Thursday, the Patriots remain upbeat for their next opponents. Brady threw 324 yards for three TDs, which ranked him third in the list of NFL players with 500 career touchdown throws. On Monday, Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints could join the likes of Brady. In terms of his career, Brady won his 226th game, which ranks him level with Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri, who once played for the Patriots. Vinatieri holds the record of the most career wins in league history.
