Patriots vs Dolphins Game | PatriotsOdds.com
The Dolphins are preparing to play the Patriots. Some teams wouldn’t envy such an undertaking but the Dolphins have good reason to not be cowed. This is the 104th time that they will be playing New England.
The two teams squared off against one another for the first time in 1966. From that point onward, not a year went by without New England and Miami facing one another at least twice during the regular season.

And the Patriots VS Dolphins Odds would change with each new season. One wonders how the two teams will fare against one another in 2017.
The Patriots just played two games on the road which means they are probably looking forward to returning to the confines of the Gillette Stadium. The team saw some success on the road. They beat Denver. They also got to train at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.
And it wasn’t long after that they went on to play and ultimately beat the Oakland Raiders. The Patriots are looking good. Now obviously that shouldn’t be a surprise.
They are the New England Patriots after all. But considering the floundering and stumbling they did at the start of the season, even their fans must be elated that they not only beat the Raiders 33-18 but that they are also just as likely to deliver a .500 finish.
They could even finish better than that. Either way, it would mark the 17th Straight season of the Patriots finishing in that range. They will be looking to beat Miami this week.
They need to get their record up to 9-2. The two teams have squared off so many times that there is plenty of data with which to make predictions about the way their next match will resolve.
2017 will mark the Patriots and the Dolphins’ 52nd year as Division foes. Should Miami worry about just how dominant their opponent was in 2016? Well, the Patriots did sweep the season with a 31-24 win at Gillette Stadium in September. More importantly, they brought the regular season to an end by beating Miami 35-14 in January.
It was a significant win because the Patriots had nurtured a three-game losing streak against their foes in Miami up to that point. Right now, there is a good reason to give the Patriots the upper hand.
Of course, Miami fans also have a good reason to dispute that conclusion. Sure, the Patriots have a 13-2 record against Miami at the Gillette Stadium. But the overall record stands at 16-36 in favor of Miami.
And Gillette Stadium might not offer the advantage New England expects. After all, the Dolphins managed to beat them in 2005 and 2008 at the Gillette Stadium, so a victory in that particular setting wouldn’t be unprecedented.
Then again, one needs to keep in mind the x-factor that is Bill Belichick. The Head Coach joined the New England fraternity in 2000 and he has since managed to deliver a 22-12 record against the Dolphins.
Simply put, New England is not unbeatable. Miami has beaten them before and they can beat them again. However, Miami would be foolish to underestimate the juggernaut that is the Patriots because they are still favorites this season.
