High School Career
Christopher was raised in Wyckoff, New York Jersey. He was born of Mary and James. He has two siblings, Jeff and a sister Erinn. While at school, he played lacrosse and football for his school Ramapo High School. He often played as a first-teamer for the junior team and as well as the senior team in lacrosse.
Before being named as a first-teamer in the all-league Christopher, he played as a second-teamer in his second year in high school. In the year 2006, was named midfielder of the year. Apart from that, he also received an award for the Under Armour High School. He was an outstanding football player in his high school years. He was twice named the all-time first team and in the all-time Jersey football top 100. He was also included in the Tri-States Heisman team
College Career
He choose to attend Penn State college in order to help the rising Nittany Lions men’s Lacrosse Program. In his rookie year, he played in all the 13 games where he ended up scoring 11 goals. In his second year, he sprained his ankle and played in only 3 games. He eventually graduated in 2010 with a year of college sports eligibility still left.
He choose to attend Monmouth University after recovering from his 2008 ankle injury. At Monmouth, he could either play as a receiver or the cornerback position. He ended the one year with 3 touchdowns on 147 yards in defense area and 28 tackles.
NFL Career
He later went ahead to join the NFL as a free agent in the year 2011. He had earlier signed with San Francisco, New York Giants and the Miami Dolphins However he could not appear in every regular season game. His breakthrough came in 2012 when he joined Buffalo spills. Having played for the Bulls for 4 seasons, he later signed with the Patriots and helped them win the Super Bowl against their rivals, Atlanta Falcons. He played 15 games for the Bills in 2015, this was the third straight year.
In 2016, he played for signed with the New England Patriots for a three and a half restricted deal for $12 million. In order to avoid the Bills from signing him, they added $5.5 million to tie him down. His coach Bill Belick described him as one of the best He ended the season having achieved 4 touchdowns, 38 receptions for 680 yards. This was outstanding since it is only De Sean Jackson who had the best record of 17.95 compared to Hogan’s 17.89 touchdowns per yard. In February Christopher was part of the team that lead the Patriots in winning the Super Bowl over the Falcons.
